If you ask yourself this repeatedly chances are that sooner or later you'll spend all of your time missing out on the present in order to plan on the future.
If I had done that then I wouldn't get to live in the present moment of some fantastic happenings in the last two months.
In the month of February 2014 I achieved Off Broadway status at the age of 26 years old, Sound designed a harrowing production of Bent at the Provincetown Theatre (and got paid!), is just about to be accepted into grad school at Cal-Arts, and has unlocked a new passion storytelling passion of promoting queer personalities in film.
In just a few days I'll begin my life online by creating a diary channel/ a movie channel/ and writing for Autostraddle.
I can't wait to get started on making 'The Girl Who's Kombucha Took Over BK'. I also can't wait to discover a much better name to give this project.
As far as money goes I've been fortunate enough to start getting adequately paid for my efforts in theatre and look to expand my skill set as the time goes on.
The future is promising at the moment and I can't wait to get to work and show ya'll what I can do.
Here's to happiness for the sake of happiness!
P.S. I'm doing an experiment based on the teachings of the Secret. I 'm asking the universe for $10,000 and to meet Lena Dunham. So far nothing but I'm not giving up hope :-P
